Quite possibly the best Grassy Eucalypt Woodland you’re likely to ever see
About
We are super lucky and mega chuffed to be able to visit this private property in Mernda in Melbourne’s north. Ancient redgums, rich grassy understorey, it’s everything that the government’s promised Grassy Eucalypt Woodland Reserve is supposed to be.
This is an ecosystem as rare as our Volcanic Plains grassland.
We’re capping numbers of visitors to 30. And we’ll have a waitlist. If you register but realise you can’t make it, please cancel your registration so someone else can join us.
This tour is on the way to Terrick Terrick National Park, where we’re having a very grassy weekend with the Friends groups up there.
Remember to wear closed shoes, dress sensibly for the weather and bring sunscreen and water!
There’s no difficult walking except over slightly rocky grassland. But we might walk a km or so.
