The details:
Meet at: The picnic tables at Yellow Gum Recreation Area at 9.30 am.

From there, we will walk together as a group around the lake, stopping along the way to look closely at nature, and explore our surroundings.
After our walk, we’ll return to the recreation area for a fun nature journaling activity, where families can get creative and record some nature.
Families are welcome to bring along snacks or a picnic and stay for a bite to eat after the activity. The recreation area has shelter and toilet facilities available.
A few things to keep in mind:
The track includes some steep cliff edges, so please take care and keep children close. Children must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.
There are some steeper sections along the track and the track may not be suitable for all prams, so please consider this when planning your visit. If you have any questions about the activities and your access needs, please get in touch with activities@vnpa.org.au
Comfortable shoes, water and sun protection are recommended.
We’d love for you to join us for a relaxed morning of nature, exploring and family fun at the Blue Lake.
This event is free.
